We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Back of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food service areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and staff training, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

· Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during service hours.

· Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.

· Train new employees on food handling procedures, cooking techniques, and guest service expectations.

· Utilize POS systems for cash handling and order processing.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.

· Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimize kitchen operations.

· Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.

· Participate in shift management to maintain high standards of service during peak hours.

· Manage all BOH and FOH team members and when opening and closing the restaurant

· Be able to open and close the restaurant with all required checklists completed

· Responsible for Server, Bar and Host/Busser Cash outs after each shift

· Reconcile the safe when opening or closing the restaurant

· Fill out our End of Night spreadsheet accurately for all tipped employees and upload tips to their pay card

Requirements

· Proven experience in a supervisory role within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

· Strong culinary skills with a background in food production and fine dining experience preferred.

· Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.

· Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes is highly desirable.

· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

· Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally.

· Familiarity with POS systems

· Previous experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is a plus.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
