We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor with bartending and server experience to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a commitment to training and developing staff. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a team-oriented restaurant environment.
Duties
· Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
· Train, mentor, and supervise staff in food service management, including cash handling and guest service protocols.
· Utilize POS system for order processing and payment handling.
· Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
· Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
· Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food industry.
· Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining experiences is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
· Ability to train staff effectively in soft skills (guest interaction).
· Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including shift management and team dynamics.
· Be able to open and close the restaurant with all required checklists completed
· Responsible for Server, Bar and Host/Busser Cash outs after each shift
· Reconcile the safe when opening or closing the restaurant
· Fill out our End of Night spreadsheet accurately for all tipped employees and upload tips to their pay card
· Be able to bartend/serve when needed and memorize the recipes to all specialty cocktails
